Eureka Enviro Steamer Review - My Review of the Eureka Enviro Steamer

Eureka Enviro Steamer
The Eureka Enviro Steamer is one of the best selling steam mops which isn’t surprising considering how much it has to offer.   Probably one of the biggest selling points of the Eureka Enviro Steamer is that it is one of the most affordable steam mops on the market today.

Of course, affordability means nothing unless it performs well and based on positive review after positive review, this steam mop does what it says it will.  I can personally attest to that as this is one of the steam mops that I own.  It only took me one use with my new Eureka Enviro Steamer to realize that I could safely throw away my much hated bucket and mop.

The Eureka Enviro Steamer is easy to use.  It is fairly lightweight and easy to push.  I have a couple of small complaints about it but nothing major.  One is that the mop pads shrink when washed.  Once this occurs, you have to work a little harder to get them on the unit.  Apparently others have had the same problem.  My other complaint is that I wish that it was a little more low profile so it could get under furniture and my kitchen cabinets a little easier.

Some of the reasons I choose the Eureka Enviro Steamer to be my steam mop include the price.  It was about $20-40 cheaper than most other popular steam mops including the Shark, Bissell, and Haan.

Also, I liked what I heard when I read other's reviews of the Eureka Enviro Steamer.   One of the most important things was that it actually got hot enough to kill germs.  Something that the Shark Steam Mop doesn’t do.

When I was ready to make my steam mop purchasing decision, I was having a little trouble deciding between the Eureka and the Bissell steam mop.  After realizing that I would have to purchase filters for the Bissell which would mean an additional long term cost, I decided to go with the Eureka.

A few more things to love about the Eureka Enviro Steamer steam mop:

  • Swivel head - makes it easier to get at spots
  • Adjustable handle - no bending over because the handle isn’t the right height for you.
  • Water tank - The water tank is at the base, not on the handle which makes it easier to push and use the mop.  It also holds more water than many of the other popular steam mops including the Shark, Bissell, Haan, and Monster steam mops.
