Haan keeps updating and introducing new steam mop models to make them more appealing to what the public is looking for more. That is the case of the HAAN SI-60 Steam Mop.

They kept the things that consumers loved from the SI 35 model and added some features it was lacking. It looks like they have hit a home run this time.

Haan SI 60 Steam Mop Pros

Quick heat up time.  With 1200 watts of power, the new Haan Steam Mop heats up quickly, it just about 20 seconds. This is quicker than their other models as well as many other steam mops which usually take a few minutes to heat up.

Swivel head.  Unlike the Haan SI 35 Steam Mop, the SI 60 has a swivel head. It is now easier to clean around furniture and toilets and to get into corners with your Haan Steam Mop.

Adjustable handle.  You can adjust the handle of your mop to accommodate your height. It adjusts from about 44 inches to 50 inches tall.

Low profile head.  The Haan FS 20 has a high profile head but this model was designed like the SI 35, with a low profile head. Easier for cleaning underneath things in your home such as furniture and cabinetry.

Wide cleaning path.  The Haan SI 60 steam mop has an 11.8" cleaning path. This is a good size as many steam mops including the Bissell steam mop only have an 8 or 9 inch cleaning path.

Long cord.  This Haan was designed with a longer cord than the other models. At 25 feet, Haan is finally answering the cries of consumers who have begged for more cord to cover bigger rooms and areas in your home.

Adjustable steam.  This steam mop comes with two steam settings. You can adjust it from mild to full steam to accommodate the floors you are mopping.

Removable water tank.  The FS 20 didn't have a removable water tank but Haan included it in the SI 35 model and in this new SI 60 model. A removable water tank makes it much easier to refill the mop when needed. 

Lightweight.  This steam mop is not bulky or hard to use. It only weighs about 4 1/2 lbs.

15 Steam Jets.  Like other Haan Steam Mops, this model has 15 steam jets to evenly distribute steam onto the floors you are cleaning. Compare that to the one steam jet on the Shark Steam Mop and it's rather impressive, isn't it?

Carpet glide attachment.  Like their other steam mops, Haan included a carpet glide attachment with this mop.  That means you can use the attachment to freshen carpets and rugs and kill some dust mites that might be lurking in there.  The 212 degrees F of heat the steam of this mop provides should be adequate enough to not only eliminate those dust mites, but germs and many bacterias as well.

Haan SI 60 Steam Mop Cons

Small water tank. The water tank only holds 11.83 ounces of water which is rather small. According to the specs on Haan's website, this can give you up to 25 minutes of steam on the mild steam setting. If only they had made the tank bigger, the SI 60 could very well have been the perfect steam mop. It certainly is still one of the best steam mop options available today though.
